DANCE AT NORMANBY

The Normanby Women's Institute and basketball club organised a "victory dance" last week, the proceeds of which they devoted to patriotic funds. Dancing was enjoyed. Mr. F. J. Lawrence Scott was master of ceremonies, and Mrs. D. Leydon was doorkeeper. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Knuckey and Mr. W. Dombroski and Miss J. Hardy won Monte Carlo waltzes, while a spot foxtrot was won by Mr. H. Clements and Miss N. Shearer. Mesdames A. G. Knuckey, F. J. L. Scott, E. P. Grant and J. Meuli comprised a committee responsible for serving supper.
