REFORMATORY WORK
mr. hart and mr. dineen "When I think of the New Plymouth Reformatory I think of my dear old friend the late Mr. F. Dineen, said the Rev. F. Hart at the farewell to him in St. Mary's hall, New Plymouth, last night. "He loved working for the men under his care. He has passed to his great rest; I feel sure that his soul will find peace because of his great work among those men." Mr. T. Stocker, superintendent at the reformatory, expressed appreciation of Mr. Hart's work there. He had been a constant visitor to the institution and the men thought a great deal of him for i his work among them. It was mainly through Mr. Hart's energy that the social activities at the reformatory had been carried on. He was in charge of the orchestra for a considerable time and had been instrumental in bringing the social funds to the satisfactory position they were now in. The men had asked him to express to Mr. Hart their regret that he was leaving and their hope for his safe return, said Mr. Stocker. He himself could endorse that sentiment.
