Mr. and Mrs. C. Manning, Nihoniho, are visiting Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. F. Pleasants have returned from Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. D. Wolfsbauer, Ohura, have made their home at Matiere. Mrs. Benzigger has returned from Feilding. Mr. r. Schmidt, Manunui, was a recent visitor to Matiere. M;s. J. H. Williams has left for Tauranga. Mr. J. Binns, Tatu, was a week-end visitor to Matiere. Mrs. A. V. Lodder has returned from Frankton. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Watson, Ngaruawahia, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. Salter. Mrs. Mossman, Waikaka, has returned from Auckland. Mr. W. Howell, Otorohanga, has taken up duties at the local post office. Mr. W. Bowman and Miss D. Bowman, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Turner, have returned to Auckland . . Mrs. Salles, Taumarunui, was the guest of Mrs. Jobe, Tuhua, last week. Mr. G. A. Eng has returned from Auckland. Mr. Lobb, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. Turner, has returned to New Plymouth. Misses J. and I. Garnett, Alton, are guests of Mrs. Lithgow. Mr. G. Woods is a guest of Mrs. W. Salter, Tuhua.
