BARNES CUP GOLF
The third round of stableford play for the Vic. Barnes Cup was played on the Westown Golf Club course yesterday, when a large field took part. Keen interest is being taken in this competition, and with only one more round to go several players are in the running. The best scores in yesterday's round were: A. Adam 22—13—35, H. CliffordJones 24—9—33. R. Bowie 18—14—32, R. Boulton 25—7—32. A. J. Kibby 20—12—32, E. Robinson 22-10-32. The final round of the Barnes Cup will be played next Wednesday. Successful players in the senior and junior divisions held in conjunction with the cup round were: H. Clifford-Jones (senior) and A. Adam (junior).
