ON NAZI DOORSTEP
30 NEW MINEFIELDS LAID Rec. 12.35 a.m. London, Sept. 18. Flying hundreds of thousands of miles with only one or two losses, Royal Air Force planes have laid over 30 separate minefields from Norway to the Bay of Biscay, it was revealed this morning. Some reach within a stone's throw of enemy quaysides. Thousands of tons of enemy shipping have been destroyed as a result. The aerial minelayers also carry bombs, with which they have repeatedly attacked shipping successfully.
