Schools Library Service.

The grant of £25 a year to the New Plymouth and Rural Schools library service was one of the best things the board had ever done for the district. said a member of the Taranaki Education Board yesterday in expressing his appreciation of a service he regarded as a wonderful institution. Membcrs generally agreed that the service was proving an unqualified success, it being stated that not only the pupils but the patents as well read thc books provided. The opinion was exprctsed that in this service Taranaki led the way.
