FAIR TO FINE WEATHER
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Wellington, Last Night. The weather for the most part will be fair to fine with a few isolated showers over the Auckland peninsula, however. There will be scattered rain in western and far southern areas of the South Island. Temperatures will be milder. Winds from a westerly quarter will prevail, moderate to fresh generally and later becoming strong in exposed positions in South Taranaki. An' extensive anti-cyclone is centred over the North Tasman Sea. Pressure is relatively low to the south and the south-east of New Zealahd and a vigorous depression is approaching Tasmanja from the west. Seas will be slight or moderate generally at first, but rising south of Cape Egmont and about Cook and Foveaux Straits.
