VICTIM OF FRENCH
BRITISH SEAPLANE DOWN Rec. 5.5 p.m. Vichy, Sept. 17. It is officially stated at Vichy that a French fighter patrol shot down a British reaplane near Casablanca after the seaplane had opened fire. Three of the crew were rescued.
