FAIR TO FINE WEATHER
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Wellington, Last Night. The weather for the most part will be fair to fine with a'few' passing showers over the Auckland peninsula, however, and some scattered rain in the far southwest and south. It will be cold with some frosts in both islands overnight but moderate day temperatures will prevail. Light to fresh westerly or southwesterly winds will prevail. The depression which was centred over the North Island yesterday has moved rapidly eastward and is now located to the north -east of the Chatham Islands. An anti-cyclone extends from Australia across the North Tasman Sea. Seas will be rather rough at first north of Kawhia and between East Cape and Castlepoint, and slight or moderate elsewhere.
