PATRIOTIC FUND APPEAL

Mr P Frnncis and his junior choir have' contrihutcd £0 to the New Plymouth branch of the Taranaki patriotic fund committee. The patriotic fiowcr show held by the New Plymouth Horticultural Society has sent £23 16s 9d to the fund. Mr. J. Taylor raised £3 ls 3d from guessing competitions at Moturoa. Prize winners were: Seeds in marrow, Mrs. E. Taylor (Mission Hill) 1. Miss Joan Smilh (Fitzroy) 2. Mr. Thomson (New Plymouth) 3. A carved chain went to Mrs. R. B. Fleming, Pungarehu.
