REGENT THEATRE.

"BRIDE FOR HENRY." Finally to-night at 8 p.m. at the Regent Theatre, New Plymouth, "Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase" will be screened. On the same programme is "Men Without Souls," a thrilling prison drama featuring John Gitel as Rev. Tom Storm. "A Bride for Henry," which comes to the Regent Theatre to-morrow at 7.45 p.m., is excellent entertainment. Full of amusing situations and crackling dialogue, this Monogram production is a sure guarantee for limitless laughs. The story tells of a young and spoiled heiress who, finding lier fiance has failed to show up for the wedding, marries her family's staid lawyer just to save her j face and an avalanche of newspaper publicity. It is then her intention to obtain a' Rdrio ' divdrce arid mar'ry Eric, whom she still loves. Complications arise when Henry decides not to divorce his wife, and when Sheila discovers that | Henry isn't the boring businesslike lawI yer she thought he was. It's all a de- ' iigh'tful, happy, snappy entertainment [ you will really enjoy. The associate feature, "Call of the Yukon." adapted from James Oliver Curwood's popular novel, "Swift Lightning," is a thrilling epic of the frozen north, with many

stirring and unusual features. Kichard Arlen as the trapper and Beverley Roherts as the novelist are excellent in the main roles. As the trader Lyle Talbot also gives a sterling performance. Packed with thrills and excitement from end to end, "Call of the Yukon" is ideal entertainment for the whole family.
