DANCE AT BRIXTON

The dance held by the Brixton branch of the W.D.F.U. in aid of the W.D.F.U. bomber fund recently was well attended. Mr. N. Tate acted as master of ceremonies. Euchre prize-winners were Mrs. R. Mace and Mrs. Sutton and Mr. H. Giddy and Mr. A. Huffam. Monte Carlos were won by Miss E. McDonough and partner, and Miss B. Giddy and Mr. H. Giddy. A competition for a coke donated by Mrs. A. L. Hooper was won by Mrs. H. N. Rowe, Vogeltown. The fund will benefit by over £11 from the function.
