FITZROY SCHOOL REPORT Bicycles were increasing rapidly and the accommodation of the bicycle sheds was becoming taxed stated the report of the headmaster, Mr. A. K. Robertshaw, at the monthly meeting of the Fitzroy school committee on Wednesday night. It might become necessary to forbid children living within half a mile of the school to bring bicycles to school, he said. Ten pupils had been admitted during the past month. Two hundred and twenty-four boys and 201 girls were at present on the roll, the report continued, making a total of 425. Five boys and five girls had been admitted, while two girls had left. The average attendance was now at 401.1. The feport stated that a number of children from the school went to the West End special class each year. Investigations into the possibilities of having a special class at Fitzroy were about to be pursued. After some discussion of the travelling photographer problem, it was decided to leave the questlon to the headmaster, with the recommendation that the photographere be instructed to call at twoyearly intervals. Considerable discussion also took place regarding the final details of the school baths, construction on which is to begin shortly. The visiting committee reported that the grounds were in excellent condition, everything being well-kept and in good order. Messrs. Sullivan and Colson were appointed the visiting committee for the next month.
