TARANAKI COLLECTION
Taranaki 's Spitfire fund is steadily growing. At Newton King Ltd.'s Haymarket sale at New Plymouth yesterday a pedigree Jersey bull calf, two months ofa, 'given by Mr. H. Groyer, Sentry Hill, was auctioned for the Spitfire 'fund. With donations and the final sale the amount realised was»£8 12s. Further contributions are: —
Waitara is not holding a street day to-day, but there will be a house to house canvass on Wednesday. The annual Bush v. Beach game at Okato today will be in aid of the appeal.
