NEW MAE WEST FILM.
OPENING AT THE KING'S TO-DAY. "My Little Chickadee," starring Mae West, W. C. Fields, Joseph Calleia, Dick Foran and Anne Nagel, will head a double bill opening at the King's Theatre, Stratford, at 1.30 and 7.45 p.m. to-day. Mae's back in a lusty farce of the frontier days in the bad old West in "My Little Chickadee." Every scene is a sensation, every line a laugh, when Mae, the "Curvaceous Cutie." captivates "Bibulous Bill" of the bulbous beak. In this laugh tornado she is just as dazzling blonde, no less inviting, 'and even more hip-swaying than ever she was. The hilarious Higginses are up to new antics in "Money to Burn," Republic's *latest offering in the Higgins Family series starring the Gleasons, Lucile, James and Russell, which will be the second film. It deals with new Higgins family difficulties, generated by the irrepressible Mrs. Higgins. Higgins, a hardworking executive in an advertising agency, deplores his wife's fanatical interest in prize contests of all sorts. He deplores it so much that he deplores himself right into a well paid job as account executive on a dog biscuit account featuring a gigantic prize contest.
