HEARING OF APPEAL

SENTENCE UPON JOCKEYS
Christchurch, Last Night. The appeals of the jockeys, P. Burgess, A. E. Didham, G. R. Tattersall, W. Broughton and H. Wiggins against the action of the Executive Committee of the New Zealand Racing Conference, granting them three months' conditional licenses only at the beginning of the present season will be heard before three judges appointed by the conference at Wellington on September 24. The names of the judges will not be divulged until after the hearing.
