By Telegraph—Press Association.
Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fair to fine except in the' Gisborne area where isolated showers are still likely, states the official forecast. Cloud will increase to-mor-row in the western and far southern districts of the South Island and drizzle will develop later in south Westland. Day temperatures will be milder. An almost stationary arjti-cyclone covers New Zealand and the north Tasman Sea and an extensive depression is centred west of Tasmania. Moderate south-easterly winds are likely over the northern half of the North Island, freshening at times in the Gisborne area. Elsewhere there will be light to moderate and variable breezes with northerlies later predominating over the South Island and freshening. Seas will be rather rough between East Cape and Castlepoint but moderating elsewhere.
