WAITARA PROVISION Appreciation of the action of the Taranaki Hospital Board in deciding to erect a maternity hospital of not less than eight beds at Waitara was expressed by the Mayor of Waitara when a resolulion passed at the last meeting of the hospital board was received from the secretary, I Mr. A. J. Gunn. The resolution stated that the board was agreed that a maternity hospital of not less than eight beds with necessary service rooms and stafl: quarters be built at Waitara and that plans and details be proceeded with for submission to the Department of Health for approval and that the generour gift from the Waitara Bo rough Council of sections be accepted with the thanks of the board.
