"NANCY DREW" TO-MORROW.

REGENT THEATRE PROGRAMME. Finally to-nighT"^" 7.45 p.m. Will Fyffe, Margaret Lockwood and John Loder will be seen in Owd Bob at the Regent Theatre. On the same programme is Warner Oland in "Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo." Commencing to-morrow at 2 pm and 7.45 p.m. is another of the Nancy Drew series, "Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase." It features that clever little girl, Bonita Granville. Nancy and her boy friend, Ted Nickerson. again played by Frankie Thomas, have their courage sorely tested, for they have to face successively the apparent alternatives of being interred alive or of being slowly but surely drowned, and the settings in which they face these dangers are themselves calculated to strike a chill into the heart of the bravest person. The efforts of these two to solve a murder make grand entertainment. John Litel plays the father and Frank Orth is a delight as Captain Tweedy. The second feature stars John Litel as the Rev. Tom Storm, who believes most criminals can be rehabilitated if their problems are understood. His appointment as chaplain of a penitentiary noted for brutality gives the screen an amazing dramatic story of the intrigues and crimes, even murder. that involved this man wearing the cloth. Prominent parts are played by Barton MacLane, Cy Rendall and Rochelle Hudson.
