OPERA HOUSE, HAWERA. "His Girl Friday," the Columbia picture which will be shown finally tonight at the Opera House, Hawera, has proved itself one of the comedy hits of the season. A mad. merry whirl of husbands— past, present and future— "His Girl Friday" presents Grant as a heartless, thoughtless, perfectly shameless man wiio is still grand; Miss Russell is a stubborn, stunning spitfire who refuses j to be "His Girl Friday"; and Ralph Bellamy is the fretting, fuming Lothano of an insurance salesman to whom she turns for "protection." Grant is seen as the maddest managing editor ever to run a ncwspaper; Miss Russell is his brightest, most beautiful reporter.
