MINE WORKER KILLED

FALL OF COAL AND STONE
Dunedin, Last Night. The death occurred at Balclutha hospital this afternoon of Thomas Randle Carson, married, aged 41, following injuries received in an accident at the Kaitangafa coal mine on Monday. Carson was struck by a fall /of stone and coal, receiving a fractured skull and other injuries. He failed to regain consciousness. A family of seven children is left.
