FAIR TO FINE WEATHER

By Telegraph—Press Association.

Wellington, Last Night. The weather for the most part will be fair to finp with scattered showers continuing in the Hawkes Bay area, however, but becoming less frequent tomorrow. There will be frosts in the South Island, but temperatures will be moderate in the daytime. Light to moderate southerly winds, later becoming variable, will prevail in the South Island, while fresh to strong winds, later decreasing, will predominate in the North Island. An anti-cyclone covers the Tasman and southern New Zehland, while a vigorous depression is centred east of the Chatham Islands. Seas will be rough between East Cape and Kaikoura and north of Kawhia, elsewhere slight or moderate.
