Two pioneer families of the Kaponga district have signified their intention to give armchairs as a contribution towards ( fuvnishing the centennial memorial wo- i men's rest and Plunket rooms. It ie in- |
tended to attach suitable plates to the chairs, indicating the names of the donors and those of the pioneers, in whose memory they are given. The memorial is to be opened by the Minister of Internal Affairs. the Hon. W. E. Parry. on September 27.
