FORCES OF NEW ZEALAND
Wellington, Last Night. The death of Private Alexander Lindsay Meikle, a member of the second New Zealand Expeditionary Force in England, was officially reported to-day. Mrs. E. Horwell, Timaru, is his sister. The following Air Force casualties are announced: — Pilot-Officer John Fleming, admitted to hospital suffering from injuries as a result of air operations: mother, Mrs. B. S. Fleming, Wellington. Pilot-Officer Keaneth Victor Wendel, killed in air operations; father, Mr. V. Wendel, Middlemore, Mangere, Auckland. Pilot-Officer Robert Gladstone Hall, missing on air operations; father, Mr. A. W. Hall, Wellington. Advice that his son, Sei'geant Gunner James Bracegirdle, serving with the P..N.Z.A..F. in England, is missing, has be?n received by his father, Mr. Arthur Bracegirdle, Parnell, according to an Auckland message.
