carver — sanders Spring flowers, arranged by friends of tlie bride, decorated St. James' Church, Lower Hutt, on Saturday, August 31. for the wedding of Patricia (Pam), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Sanders. Lower Hutt, and Matthew Carver, son of Mrs. L. Felton. Ngaio. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. E. K. Fry. The bride and bridegroom both formerly lived | at New Plymouth. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a trained gown of white watered moire taffetas, cut on princess lines. Her veil of Limerick lace (lent by her aunt, Miss S. Rolfe, New Plymouth) was over 100 years old. It fell from a white blossom mount to form a second train. A shower bouquet of white hyacinths, freesias and primroses was carried. The bridesmaids, Misses Susie Sanders (sister of the bride), Nan Carver (bridegroom's sister) and Pat Christoffel, wore full skirted frocks of chiffon in shades of lemon, lavender and green respectively, and carried bouquets to tone. Mr. Pat Carver was best man and the groomsmen were Messrs. Brian Walton, Patea, and Graeme Ayson. Mrs. Sanders and Mrs. Felton received over 100 guests at a reception at St. James' Hall, Mrs. Sanders wearing a tan ensemble and Mrs. Felton a gvey ensemble. When the bride and bridegroom left later, Mrs. Carver was wearing a misty blue Scotch tweed skirt and overcoat with a check suit eoat, a navy "Pinocchio" hat and navy accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Carver will make their home at Keri Keri, Bay of Islands.
