Mrs. G. Byrne, Rotorua, is the guest of Mrs. Byrne, Rugby Road. Misses R. Harris and E. Cook, who have been guests of Mrs. W. Brown, have returned to Christchurch. Miss F. Thomas, Nelson, is a guest of Mrs. Reardon. Mrs. Taylor has returned from Hawkes Bay. Mrs. S. Burton, who has been a guest of Mrs. Kaye, has returned to Tongaporutu. . Mrs. Longstaff, Tarurutangi, is a guest of Mrs. Gordon. Mrs. Thomason, Hawkes Bay, is the guest of Mrs. Pearce. Miss Pat Brown has returned from Wellington. Mrs. Brooker has returned to Opunake. Miss Burton has returned from New Plymouth. Mrs. Reardon entertained this week in honour of the coming-of-age of her daughter Shirley. Miss Hird, Wellington, is a guest of Mrs. Reardon. Women's Institute Dancc. The Norfolk Women's Institute held their annual drama evening last week, when four plays were staged by the various play groups. The plays were interspersed by musical items, and at the conclusion a dance was held.
