Auckland, Last Night. In one of the most virile wrestling contests staged this seaspn John Katan regained from Lofty Blomfield the British Empire heavyweight title, the Canadian taking the . decison by one fall seciured in the seventh round. The bout had a thrilling ending, the contestants standing toe to toe for the greater part of the last two rounds and batterirjg each other with jolts while spectators in the stalls rushed to the staging and loudly encouraged the wrestlers.
