Mrs. Keith Angus arrived by air from Auckland yesterday to spend a holiday with her mother, Mrs. F. Carthew. Miss Eleanor Gray returned to Auckland on Saturday after spending a holiday at New Plymouth with her mother, Mrs. M. Gray. Miss C. Stanford returned to Wanganui yesterday after visiting her niece, Mrs. Philip Grey. Mrs. W. I. Shrimpton has returned to New Plymouth from a holiday at Oakura. Miss Margaret Fraser returned to Christchurch yesterday after spending the university.'vacation at her home at New Plymouth. Miss Joan Lepper, who was the guest of Mrs. Mark James, returned to Lepperton yesterday. Miss Betty McRae will arrive from Palmerston Nortlf to-day to spend a holiday at New Plymouth with her sister, Mrs. D. Lethbridge. Mrs. S. Newcombe will retum to-day from a holiday at Auckland. Mrs. Hawkes senr., Wanganui, is visiting her daughter-in-law, Mrs. J. R. Hawkes. Mrs. J. S. S. Medley, who spent a holiday at Palmerston North with her daughter, Mrs. J. Cliff, is now visiting her younger daughter, Mrs. F. M. Phillips, Wellington. Mrs. R. L. Cooper left yesterday to spend a holiday at Wellington and in the South Island. Mrs. Jensen, Matau, was a visitor to New Plymouth at the week-end. Mrs. P. C. Davie left yesterday morning for Wellington, where she will attend a conferencg of the Y.W.C.A.
