RURAL HOUSING LOAN, 1940, £5000. ^OTICE IS HEREBY GTVEN that at a Special Meeting cf the Taranaki County Council held on the 2nd. day of September, 1940, the following resolution was passed: — That the Taranaki County Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local^ Bodies Loans Act 1926 and the Rural Housing Act 19S9 and amendments thereto, doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows:— 1. That the Council proceed to raise from the State Advances Corporation of New Zealand a loan of £5000 or so much thereof as may be required for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings tmder the Rural Housing Act 1939 and its amendments. , 2. That the loan be called "Taranaki County Rural Housing Loan No. 1, 1940, £5000." ' 3. That the Council repay half-yearly-in reduction of the loan an amount equal to the sum of all amounts which are expressed to be payable to the Council during the half-year ending on each half-yearly date by the agreements entered into with the Council by the various farmers to whom the loan moneys are to be advanced. 4. That interest at the rate of £3 per cent. on unpaid principal be paid by the Council calculated on the daily debtor balance of the Council in the accounts of the lender. 5. That the security for the charges in respect of such loan shall be a special rate of decimal 034112d in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved valuc) of all rateable property in the County of Taranaki.
