Rec. 9.15 p.m. Sydney, Sept. 9. Trading on the Stock Exchange to-day was quiet. Prices in several cases eased slightly. Quotations were: Colonial Sugar, £46 12s 6d; Peters, 20s 6d; Oil Search, 4s: Broken Hill Proprietary, 43s; Bank of New South Wales, £26; Woolworths, 17s 7kl; General Industries. 17s; Electrolytic Zinc, 50s 3d; Tooths, 49s 3d; Felt and Textiles. 39s lOid; Australian Securities, 5s 7d; Howard Smith, 21s 3d. Quotations on the Melbourne Stock Exchange were: New Broken Hill. 14s 2d; Mt. Lyell, 27s 9d.
