BISHOP'S VISIT
conference of clergy The Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of Waikato, conferred with clergy of the Taranaki Archdeaconry yesterday at Okato, where the visitors were entertained at tea by the guild and at supper by men of the parish. The bishop returned to New Plymouth, where he confirmed three candidates at St. Mary's. Bishop Cherrington. who was Archdeacon G. H. Gavin's guest last night. will leave this morning on his return to Hamilton.
