PLAY AT SENTRY HILL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES
Results of championship play at the I Sentry Hill Golf Club at the week-end [were: R. Eva beat L. Billows 4 and 3, | M. Pool beat S. Jones 4 and 2. j A bogey match played in conjunction ■ was won by M. Pool with a scoi e of 3 up. S. Jones 1 up having the next best card. , , M. Pool had his handicap reduced from 7-5 to 5-4 as the result of a nett score of 62, six under bogey for the course. Other handicaps reduced are: R. Eva from 7-5 to 6-5, S. Jones 11-8 to 9-7. L. Frethey 16-12 to 15-11, D. Parkin 23-18 ] to 21-16, H. Cole 18-14 to 16-12, L. Bil- | lows 14-11 to 12-9. Results of the first round of the women's championships played at the weekend were: — Intermediate: Miss Doyle beat Mrs. N. ' Sampson 5 and 4, Miss Morey beat Miss | Jarman 7 and 5, Miss Verry beat Mrs. ■ Cole 6 and 4. Junior: Miss Roberts beat Miss Stevens 4 and 3, Miss Adams beat Mrs. Parkin 4 and 2, Miss Hey beat Miss Chapman 4 and 2.
