CAM? AT WAIWAKAIHO

MAIN COURSE BEGINS TO-DAY. GENERAL YOUNG TO INSPECT. After a refresher course of three' days, the officers, non-commissioned officers and a portion of the strength of the Taranaki Regiment were joined in eamp at Waiwakaiho yesterday by ths greater part of the balance of the regiment. The main annual course of instruction will commence this morning. Lieutenant-Colonel L. H. Jardine, M.C., D. 5.0., officer commanding the regiment, is in charge of the camp. Advice has been received that the General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces, Major-General R. Young, C. 8., C.M.G., D. 5.0.. and Colonel J. H. Whyte, D. 5.0., D.C.M., officer in charge of the Central Command, will visit New Plymouth on Saturday for the purpose of inspecting the camp.
