It is reported that officials of the Australian Maritime Union are planning to boycott the new owners if the Commonwealth line of ships be placed on the English articles and the wages reduced. The vessels will be immediately declared “black,” and no cargo will be handled nor will any lines be handled when th© ships are berthing. The Federal Prime Minister, Mr. S. M. Bruce, when asked to comment on yesterday’s cabled statement that Lord Kyleant was purchasing the Commonwealth Line, refused to confirm or deny the report.
