VIEWS OF JURY SYSTEM
FORMER RULES FAVOURED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The legal conference to-day discussed the jury system, with special reference to tlie rules of December, 1924, restricting the rights of litigants to trial by jury in certain civil cases. “That this conference approves the principle that it is desirable to revert to the former rules as to trial by jury in civil actions,” was the text of a resolution carried.
