EAST TOAST TOURNAMENT. HASTINGS CLUB THE WINNER. By Telegraph.—Press AssociatiMi. Hastings, Last Night. The East Coast Centre’s bowling tournament was won by Bewley from McKee by 20 points to 14. Both teams were from the Hastings club. NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT. Palmerston N., April 10. The post section games played this morning in the Manawatu Bowling Centre’s tournament in conjunction with the North Island tournament resulted: — Johnson (Terrace End) 22 A Smith (Takaro) 19. Wardrop (Woodville) 19 v. Conder (Island Bay) 12. Ramsay (Palmerston North) 24 v. Wilton (Palmerston North) 12. N. H. Nash (Palmerston North) 22 v. Pole (Victoria) 15. OAMARU TOURNAMEF’. Oamaru, Last Night. PTay concluded to-day in the Easter bowling tournament. In the final of the Oamaru champion pairs J. Davis and J. W. Halligan (Kaituna) 22 beat R. Donaldson and D. H. Thomson (Southland) 12. In the final of the Phoenix pairs C. G. Holmes and C. E. Manchester (Waimate) 25 beat J. Flint and J. Johnson (Dunedin) 17. In the final of the champion singles D. H. Thomson (Southland) 21 beat A. Slater (Meadowbank) 13. NEW PLYMOUTH TOURISTS. - • Three New Plymouth rinks are at present participating in Easter tournaments outside the Taranaki Centre. Williams (Fitzroy) has a rink at Wanganui, Martin (Fitzroy) at Palmerston North, and H. Smart (New Plymouth) at Napier. The results up to Saturday (six rounds) are as follow: Williams, 4 wins 2 losses; Martin, € wins; Smart, 3wins, 3 losses.
