There has been virtually a complete victory for Governor Al. Smith in the county conventions of lowa, ensuring him an entire State delegation at the national convention. This is seen as a promising omen by Governor Smith’s supporters. Nearly all the McAdoo men went over to Governor Smith. California marks Governor Smith’s next battle ground. So far he has met with no set-back from the men attempting to oppose him.
