POLICE CHASE GUNMEN
SHOO'IING INCIDENT IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph —Press Assn —Copyright. A. and N.Z. Sydney, April 9. A shooting incident at Surry Hills, attributed to gang warfare, resulted in Thomas O’Brien being sent to the hospital with a bullet wound in his chest. Two arrests were made, but a third man escaped after an exciting chase by the police, who fired twice. The fugitive eluded capture by scaling several roofs.
