WOMAN THROWN FROM CART
DEATH ALMOST INSTANTANEOUS. By Telegraph.—Prcsa Association. Christchurch, April 7. While driving with her son in a horse and cart this morning Mrs Ellen Sophia Brown, aged 73 years, of Russley Road, Fendalton, was killed as the result of the horse slipping on the tram line in Bealey Avenue. Mrs. Brown was thrown on her head on the roadway, dying almost instantly.
