COWS ELECTROCUTED

TWELVE BEASTS KILLED. Morrinsville, Nov. 29. By far the heaviest toll from livewire electrocution was taken at Tatuanui this morning, when twelve cows, owned by Air. F. Klaus, came into contact with a 230-volt wire and were killed instantly, except one, which was delivered from its obvious suffering by the owner. All were valuable cows and, with one exception, were the best in the herd. The total value of the animals is estimated at £2OO.
