Sir Austen Chamberlain has arrived in Paris, where he is remaining until Saturday, when he goes to Geneva for the session of the Council of the League of Nations. Dr. Stresemann, who yesterday conferred with the Soviet Minister, Tehitcherin, leaves Berlin to-day. In a semi-official communique he uses vigorous language regarding the attitude he intends to adont ate the Council. He says that although Germany, under the Versailles Treaty, is bound to submit to the investigation of military matters on behalf of the League when the Allied Commission is withdrawn, she intends firmly to resist any perpetuation of the existing form of control.
