GIRL GUIDE MOVEMENT

INSTRUCTION CAMP AT LEVIN. By Telegraph.—Prats Association. Levin, Last Night. The first Dominion eamp of instruction for bodies of girl guide patrols is being held at the central development farm at Levin, and is being attended by 70 guides from all parts of the Dominion. Miss Laing, of Nelson, is the head of the guides’ Dominion camping organisation, while Miss A. Behrens, deputy-Chief Guide for the North of England, is attending the eamp, the activities of which are entirely devoted to the instruction of patrol bodies. The following message has been sent Io the Commander-In-Chief of the movement, Sir Robert Baden Powell, and Lady Baden Powell, who are at present in South Africa: “Love and greetings from the first Dominion guiders’ camp in New Zealand.”
