Sir Alan Cobham and his wife will Uy to Washington to-morrow in a •moth” plane and will be presented to President Coolidge by the British Embassy o’ icials. Speaking before the National Geographic Society at a luncheon held at the Advertising Club, Sir Alan Cobham, who was the guest of honour, said: “We’ve got to knock the ‘stunt’ out of flying. Flying wants to be utilised where it is necessary, ijot where other forms of transportation are more practicable.” Planes similar to the “Moth” may be built for army and navy messenger work.
