LONGER SKIRTS.
There is an inclination to make skirts rather longer than they were last season. With the exception of sports suits, nearly all the latest models show the hem-line below the knees, and the more picturesque frocks have quite long skirts! Those which are only knee length are worn with matching knickers; and the knickers have deep bands which extend below the knees and are trimmed with embroidery, sequins, or tiny silk flowers to match the frock!
