BOXING.
MATCH POSTPONED. By Telegraph. —Press Association. Blenheim, Dec. 2. Dick Vercoe, who was scheduled to meet Roy Overend next Saturday in a professional ten-ronud bout, met with an accident yesterday. His hand was caught in the belt of a machine where he was employed, causing painful injuries to his thumb. The match has therefore been indefinitely postponed.
