An informal conference was held at the Arbitration Court between Mr. Justice Lukin and the representatives of the Australian Workers’ Union and representatives of the Electricity Commission were also present. Mr. Justice Lukin urged the union representatives to try to induce the men to resume work without further trouble, and, after discussion, they agreed to do so.
