ABSCONDER ARRESTED
REACHES SYDNEY AS STOWAWAY. By Telegraph—Awn.—Copyright. Received Dee. 2, 10.5 p.m. Sydney, Dee. 2. Alfred Duncan, who arrived as a stowaway from New Zealand, failed to pass a dictation test and was sentenced to a month’s hard labour pending hia deportation to New’ Zealand. The police ’ stated ■ that Duncan had absconded from bail in New Zealand, where he ie awaiting trial on charges of breaking and entering.
