HASTINGS MOTORIST FINED. By Telegraph. —Preus Association. Hastings, Last Night. John Carrick was fined £4 on a charge of negligent driving in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. His Worship, Mr. Dyer, S.M., in giving judgment, said that a diversitv of opinion exists as to whether approaching cars at night should dim or not dim. This is a matter which ought to be definitely decided by the authorities, and then, if a driver does as the law directs, he is following the proper course.
