ing’s mission, nnd at his lecture on Monday, will be taken by the missioner, Gipsy Smith. Christchurch, Last Night. At the Gipsy Smith mission to-night the Rev. E. D. Patchett stated that the mission was paying its way, and the guarantors would not be called upon for a penny. They had over £5OO in hand, with four full days still to rjln. Gipsy Smith said he was glad to hear the chairman make that statement, as it seemed to him that many people would like to know that the mission was failing. “It is not going to fail, lou folks are behind it, aren’t you? (cries of “Yes”). Then put in your cash, all you who thank' God for the mission, put in your collection.”
