Following the Act of last session to set up a Maori school of art and a board of control to foster the study and practice of the/ Maori arts and crafts, the Governor-General has fixed the number of members as 11, and the following personnel: Chairman, the Alinister of Internal Affairs; deputychairman, the Under-Secretary of the Department; members, Sir Maui Pomare, the Hon. A. T. Ngata, Archdeacon Williams (these three representing the Maori Purposes Fund Control Board); Dr. Buck, the Under-Secretary and the Engineer-in-Chief of the Public Works Department; Air. W. Page-Roe «nd Air. Hamilton, of the Dominion Museum, is secretary of the board.
